Join Green Quest overseas Green and Cultural Experiential Tour to Denmark and Sweden now! Green Quest is open to all HKBU students. It includes seminar series (in February to March 2019) and overseas experiential tour (20 May 2019 – 2 June 2019).

    Overview:
    The Inclusion Recruitment Conference is a careers event tailored for university students to learn the career opportunities and diversity and inclusion initiatives of the world's leading law firms and financial institutions. The night’s rundown includes panel discussions by representatives of sponsoring firms and two networking sessions which will last for a total of 120 minutes for students to interact with senior executives and recruiters through personal dialogues.

    @Platform is a monthly meet up between corporate CIOs and tech start-ups for interactive ideas exchange.
    Themes on industry clusters will be updated every 2 months for CIOs and start-ups to do sharing on stage alternatively.

    Mr. Richard Leung, 
    Vice President of Talent Cultivation, Hong Kong Computer Society
    Deputy Group Chief Information Officer & Chief Technology Officer, Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited

    Richard Leung joined HKEX in October 2011.  He is currently the Deputy Group Chief Information Officer and Chief Technology Officer.  In his position, Mr Leung assists Group CIO in Group-wide oversight of information technology management and platform development. He is also responsible for the all technology matters in Hong Kong.
     
    Mr Leung has worked with exchange and financial sector technology over the past three decades.  Prior to joining HKEx, Mr Leung was the Chief Technology Officer for Chi-X Global.  Mr Leung joined Chi-X Global in conjunction with Chi-X Global’s 2008 acquisition of Cicada.  Prior to joining Cicada, Mr Leung held a 14-year career with Dow Jones Telerate in the Asia Pacific region, where he served in various senior technical positions.

    Mr. Kelvin Har,
    Chief Information Officer, Securities and Futures Commission

    17 years of CIO and Executive experience at the Board level. Started my career early as a Certified Public Accountant. Inspired to convert into an Application System Consultant in finance, HR and distribution/logistics to design strategic systems with Fortune 500 companies' CIOs and CFOs in the USA. Served as CIO at Hongkong Land and Siemens before the present position at the SFC. Proposed numerous successful business strategies beyond the IT area and executed numerous successful recommendations. Experience in digital transformation to transpire organizational transformation, creating viable and sustainable strategy, optimizing policy with efficiencies and practical use of technology in problem solving. A career fully demonstrates executive management orientation, strategic planning and leadership for change capabilities regardless of the industries.
