Election of Student Members to the Senate 2024/2025 (UG – BUS, COMM, SCA, SCE, SCI, SCM and RPg Election)

    06 - 19 MAR 2024
Election of Student Members to the Senate 2024/2025 (UG – BUS, COMM, SCA, SCE, SCI, SCM and RPg Election)

We warmly invite all eligible students to actively take part in the Election of Student Members to the Senate 2024/2025 (UG[1] – BUS, COMM, SCA, SCE, SCI, SCM and RPg Election). This Election exercise will elect six undergraduate members from BUS, COMM, SCA, SCE, SCI & SCM and one representative for research postgraduates. The members’ term of office will commence from 1 September 2024 to 31 August 2025.

[1] As the proposal to consolidate the Faculty of Arts (ART) and Faculty of Social Sciences (SOSC) was passed in the Senate on 15 January, a new faculty would possibly be formed and implemented on 1 July upon the deliberation and approval of the Council. To avoid confusion, the election of the undergraduate student representatives for ART and SOSC would not be taken place in this exercise. It would however be arranged in September 2024 when further details of the new faculty are confirmed.

    Nomination Period:
    6 – 19 March 2024
    Publicity of Candidates:
    25 March – 15 April 2024
    Election Period:
    16 April (10:00 a.m.) – 19 April (5:00 p.m.)
