Introduction

With the generous donation from Tin Ka Ping Foundation, the Office of Student Affairs is launching a series of High Table Dinners aimed at instilling and inspiring students with a multi-dimensional experience in developing perspectives in a formal dining atmosphere.

Students will be provided invaluable opportunity to meet about 40 potential employers including leaders from commercial organisations and the community. Prestigious speakers will share valuable experiences regarding societal and career experiences, life insights and ambitions. 

With the precious opportunity to communicate with employers and experience in solemn events, students may broaden their insight and develop their perspectives contributing to their growth, career and life planning.

Reminders

  • Only shortlisted registrants would receive registration confirmation e-mail with fee payment instructions provided.
  • Enrolment in HKBU High Table Dinner could be confirmed only when fee payment is settled in person at the counter of LQC’s office by the deadline stipulated in the registration confirmation e-mail. Enrolment confirmation e-mail will be sent to successful registrants who have made the fee payment by stipulated deadline.
  • Successful registrants must follow the dress code strictly, i.e. formal dress with a black gown. LQC reserves the right to refuse students with improper attire to attend High Table Dinner, and the attendance shall be recorded as “Absence”.
  • Successful registrants should report attendance on 2/F of the Cityview no later than 18:00. CCL attendance will NOT be counted for late arrival.
  • Participants should remain quiet as a respect to the guest speaker(s) and other attendees during the event. Participants should refrain from talking, playing, and other improper behavior such as the use of cell phones and electronic products when the guest speaker is delivering speech. LQC has the right to request misbehaved participants to leave during the programme, and CCL attendance will NOT be counted.

In this two-day trip, apart from enjoying a delightful High Table Dinner with UIC students and employers from the Greater Bay Area in UIC campus, we will also take you to Chimelong Ocean Kingdom in Zhuhai on the second day. Not only will you learn about marine conservation, but you will also get the ticket for the theme park! So, seize the opportunity and make sure to register on time. Join us for an unforgettable experience!
