The Cyberport Creative Micro Fund (Hong Kong Programme) and Cyberport Incubation Programme are open for applications with deadline on 1 August 2018. The programmes are offering funding from HK$100,000 to HK$330,000 and comprehensive entrepreneurial supports from working spaces, hardware and software facilities, training & mentorship, product and business development to investment opportunities to help students, alumni and youth to pursue their dreams.

About CCMF and Cyberport Incubation Programme
Cyberport Creative Micro Fund (CCMF) encourages innovation and creativity, offering a HK$100,000 grant to high potential digital tech start-up projects and business ideas. Successful applicants will receive the grant over a period of six months, during which they should produce proof of concepts and prototypes.
Cyberport Incubation Programme supports entrepreneurs and start-ups with financial assistance and a range of business and professional services to accelerate their growth in different stages. The programme reimburses Incubatees with up to HK$330,000 over a 24-month incubation period to help them jump-start their businesses.

Societe Generale and WHub jointly host FinHACK 2018,
a hackathon to develop innovative ideas and connect creative minds of Fintech experts
Societe Generale and WHub Ltd are jointly hosting FinHACK 2018 on 6-8 July 2018, a FinTech hackathon to promote innovation and accelerate the digital transformation of the banking and financial industry in Hong Kong.
FinHACK 2018 is open to all university students, entrepreneurs, coders and developers. With the support of industry experts and representatives from Societe Generale, participants will have 36 hours to design and develop innovative solutions to address business challenges spanning RegTech, WealthTech and Digital Banking with the application of Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain and Cybersecurity technologies. Winners will receive a cash prize and a potential working opportunity at Societe Generale, with the possibility to further develop and implement their ideas.
Charles Gillet, Chief Information Officer for Asia Pacific at Societe Generale commented, “Fostering the next generation of FinTech talents directly correlates with Societe Generale’s strategy to drive innovation and digital transformation across its own organisation. Last year’s hackathon generated a plethora of creativity from the participants. The ambition of FinHACK 2018 is to provide the community with a platform to drive the FinTech revolution in Hong Kong forward.”

Internship at BD Electronics
My name is Frantisek, I am an HR Assistant at BD Electronics, the subsidiary of ML Components who is based in Mainz, Germany.
ML Components is an international distributor of electronic components with our subsidiary Office in Qormi, Malta. We provide global technology products to manufacturers of various industries: medical, aerospace, military, computer, telecommunications and transportation. ML Components has a young and multilingual workforce, with over ten languages spoken, such as English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Chinese, Dutch, Finnish, Slovak, and Indian. Here, we are constantly recruiting young people who are motivated and who want to improve themselves in contact with an International Team.
