    [UG] PUNCH for Your Health – Thai-boxing Training and Service Programme  (Phase 1)

    Being mindful of and taking actions to improve one’s physical and mental health is crucial especially during the post-pandemic recovery.  
    In PUNCH for Your Health, students will learn the sports and strengthen oneself, then carry forward the positivity by providing training to some underprivileged teenagers in the community.  After the training, with a bond built up between the students and the teenagers, the teenagers will be invited to visit HKBU campus for a personal development workshop, to be delivered by the students.

    An internship experience to Learn, Internalise and Spread Positivity around.

    The uncertainties brought by the pandemic, including the lack of social contacts, the mandatory quarantine and worries towards the future in general, induced stress to the public. 

    The study of Positive Psychology and Life Education allows us to discover and nurture our character strengths, be resilience and learn the true meaning and value of life. PLUS+ provides training to student ambassadors on Positive Psychology and Life Education. Our ambassadors will prepare workshops and develop tools to promote positivity to various community groups. Including, to design a set of tool cards to spread the message extensively to the residents of the Undergraduate Halls.

    11th Joint University Eco-Business Innovation Award (JointU eBIA) case competition!

    The Environmental Management and Technology Students’ Society (EVMTSS), HKUSTSU, is now presenting you with our 11th Joint University Eco-Business Innovation Award (JointU eBIA) case competition!

    This year we have partnered up with Marriott International to introduce a new theme, Innovations in Sustainable Hospitality, such that students could propose innovative solutions to build a sustainable brand identity at Le Meridien Hong Kong, Cyberport. It is also our pleasure to have LUSH, ÖKOSIX, and MONO Skincare as our sponsors, GREEN Hospitality to be our Knowledge Partner, and 6 other student societies as our co-organizers.

    JointU eBIA is an interdisciplinary case competition that provides a platform for participants to experience real-life business challenges and meet students from other universities. A series of exciting enrichment events including workshops and site visits led by experienced professionals within the industry will be held throughout the period. It aims to enrich and equip students with eco-business knowledge and facilitate the exchange of innovative ideas among students from different universities with different academic backgrounds.

    Eligibility: All undergraduates from any tertiary education institutes are eligible to participate. 
    Requirement: Students should form teams of 2-4 members to compete in Joint-U eBIA.

    Deposit and Refund: A fee of HK$200 per team will be collected via​ PayMe, Alipay, or bank transfer.
    (Note: HK$100 will be refunded upon completion of the competition.

    To be eligible for the refund, each team has to attend more than 70% of the enrichment activities and submit the preliminary round submission.)
