Eligible students who have financial difficulties and wish to apply for University Bursaries and Loans are required to submit the online application first, then submit the signed application form with all relevant supporting documents to Scholarships and Financial Aid Unit (SFA), Office of Student Affairs before the application deadline (5:30pm on 25 September 2024). The deadline time is set according to our system’s clock. Late application or application without the signed form and supporting documents will not be considered.

Please note that University Bursaries and Loans are different from Government grant (TSFS). Local needy students can apply for both.

The University General Scholarships 2024-25 are currently open for application.

There is only ONE application exercise for University General Scholarships per academic year. However, scholarships that are awarded via individual application and School/ Department nomination are NOT included in this exercise.

The Scholarship for UK Government’s Chevening Scholarships 2025-26 is now open for application until  5 November 2024 (Tuesday) .
