    University of Bristol Post-Graduate Scholarship for 2021/22 (Deadline: 28 February 2021)

    The Hong Kong Branch of the Bristol University Alumni Association in Hong Kong is offering a scholarship to a suitably qualified student from Hong Kong going to Bristol for post-graduate studies in the academic year commencing in September 2021. The Scholarship will be available in conjunction with a postgraduate Master’s degree programme in any field of study with maximum programme length of two years, and is intended to assist with tuition fees payable to the University, up to a maximum of £15,000 per programme. The scholarship is open for application now, please click here for more details.

    HKBU Alumni Gratitude Scholarship (AGS) 2020/21 (Deadline: 29 January 2021)

    The HKBU Alumni Gratitude Scholarship (AGS) was set up with donations raised by the V-CARE Campaign in 2019.  A group of HKBU alumni pledged a sum donation in support of students with special educational needs (SSEN). The Scholarship represents a way to show the alumni’s gratitude to their alma mater, an encouragement for the next generation of students to thrive in their own way. The scholarship is now open for application, please click here for more details.

     

    NOTE: In the event of unforeseeable circumstances, such as extreme weather that resulted in the sudden closure of SFA Counter on the day of the deadline, SFA will extend the deadline of hard copy application form submission to 5:30pm of the following working day. However, the online application platform will close as scheduled, and no extension will be offered.

    HKSAR Government Endeavour Merit Award 2020/21 (Deadline: 29 January 2021)

    The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Government has established the Endeavour Merit Award (EMA) to give recognition to deserving post-secondary students with special educational needs (SEN) in the pursuit of excellence in academic and other areas. 

     

    For the 2020/21 academic year, up to 13 EMA of HK$15,000 each will be available for eligible HKBU students. Please click here for more details.

    AIA Foundation is offering 100 scholarships to local Year 1 students who are studying at Hong Kong universities every year. For academic year 2020/21, there are 7 awards for HKBU students. Up to eight eligible candidates will be nominated for final selection by AIA Foundation.

     

    The AIA Scholarship is designed to finance an awardee’s tuition fees. The value of each AIA Scholarship will be HK$50,000 per annum, payable each year during the awardee’s undergraduate programme. It is anticipated that most applicants will be undertaking a four year undergraduate programme.  However, subject to the Foundation’s absolute discretion, students nominated by the University who are enrolled in 5 or 6 year undergraduate programmes will be entitled to receive an AIA Scholarship for each year of their nominated undergraduate programme (subject to satisfaction of the Scholarship Renewal Criteria).

    Admission Scholarship Scheme for Outstanding South and South East Asian Ethnic Minority Students (EMSS) (for new students admitted to HKBU in 2021/22)

    Admission Scholarship Scheme for Outstanding South and South East Asian Ethnic Minority Students (EMSS) (for new students admitted to HKBU in 2021/22)

    HKBU Admission Scholarship Scheme for Outstanding South and South East Asian Ethnic Minority Students (EMSS) was established to award outstanding local ethnic minority students who are admitted to full-time UGC-funded undergraduate degree programmes offered by the University via JUPAS or non-JUPAS. At least one parent of the applicant should report an ethnic heritage from one of the designated South and Southeast Asian countries. Selection criteria include academic potential, financial needs, participation in community service and extra-curricular activities, leadership qualities, goals and desire to contribute to society, as well as other talents or non-academic achievements.
