    Scholarship for Prospective English Teachers 2020/2021 (Deadline: 24 Aug 2020)

    The Scholarship for Prospective English Teachers is set up by the Education Bureau, the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region as one of a series of measures to enhance the professionalism of English teachers in Hong Kong. The aim of the Scholarship is to attract persons proficient in English to pursue relevant local bachelor degree programmes and/ or teacher training programmes which will qualify them to become English teachers on graduation.     The Education and Social Work Scholarship Program 2020 has been established for Year 1 students who were successfully admitted to the Education and Social Work programme at the any University of Hong Kong in 2020/21 academic year.     The Scholarship for Family Members of Registered Construction Workers has been established to award students who are family members of registered construction workers in Hong Kong and have achieved outstanding academic achievements in 2020 HKDSE.     Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship 2020 (Deadline: 15 Aug 2020)

    To encourage more women to pursue education and careers in business, the Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship was established by Zonta International in 1998. Up to 32 scholarships of US$2,000 each at the district/region level and six international scholarships in the amount of US$8,000 each will be offered in 2020.

     

    Women of any age, pursuing an accredited business or business-related program who demonstrate outstanding potential in the field, are eligible and encouraged to apply.
