    HSBC Life Insurance Innovation Competition

    HSBC Life is organising the second HSBC Life Insurance Innovation Competition for university students in Hong Kong. With ‘Enabling young minds to design our future’ as the slogan of this competition, students from any university in Hong Kong are invited to form teams and come up with innovative life insurance products/services that could help insurers better serve customers and meet their evolving needs in this digital age, and to propose innovative ideas on how HSBC Life can enhance product innovation, improve on product/process development cycle, and ultimately increase revenue while enriching customer satisfaction.


    Why you should join?

    1. Have the opportunity to acquire practical knowledge in applying Big Data, Artificial Intelligence and technologies into life insurance through training workshops delivered by HSBC Life and academic subject experts.
    2. Winning teams will be rewarded with up to HKD 110,000 in prizes.
    3. Winning proposals will have a chance to become one of HSBC Life’s innovative insurance services.
    4. Members of the Champion team may win a place on the six-month HSBC Hong Kong Co-op Programme. Students of the first and second runner-ups will be entitled to priority application status.

    Preparations for Common Recruitment Examination (CRE) and the Basic Law Test (BLT).

    Dear final year students,

    The CRE and BLT in Hong Kong
    The next round Common Recruitment Examination and Basic Law Test (Degree / Professional Grades) (CRE and BLT) is tentatively scheduled to be held in Hong Kong on 10 and 17 October, 2020 or another date within October 2020 if necessary.
    For convenience of those studying or residing outside Hong Kong, the CRE and BLT is also tentatively scheduled to be held on 5 December 2020 in seven cities, namely Beijing, London, San Francisco, New York, Toronto, Vancouver and Sydney. The application period for the coming CRE and BLT to be held in Hong Kong was closed in August.

    Preparations for CRE & BLT
    In order to help students to familiarize with the CRE/BLT format, Career Centre will organize a series of training workshops in September and early October. The schedule has already been uploaded on our website.
