Following the success of the 2nd BEC X NESS Green Jobs Fair, NESS is collaborating with LinkedIn HK on the Green Jobs Series Events, providing 2 events (i.e. Green Skills Building Workshop, and Green Jobs Panel & Speed-Networking Session) on 3rd and 10th May from 4-6 pm at LinkedIn HK’s office respectively.

Aiming to reach around 60 youth, our first session-the Green Skills Building Workshop aims to equip youth with relevant green skills and knowledge, particularly soft skills, to get a green job, build competitive advantages, and enable successful entry into various sustainability-focused roles. Our second session-Green Jobs Panel & Speed-Networking Session aims to help youth gain knowledge and insights into the latest sustainability trends and practices in the sustainability field, as well as seek career guidance in the green job market.

Ocean Park Graduate Trainee Program 2024

During the 12-month period of this program, the selected trainees will be given a series of structured training on park knowledge, service delivery and people skills to enable them to work efficiently and effectively in their respective roles. Ample opportunities will be offered for them to participate in work placements in other departments, to learn the various aspects of theme park operation and guest services. Upon successful completion of the program, with satisfactory work performance being observed, the Park will consider to offer long-term contracts to the Graduate Trainees to support the Park’s rapid organizational development and transformational growth.

Requirements

• University graduate in hospitality, tourism, leisure, attraction, business administration or related disciplines

• Able to work under pressure with good multi-tasking skills, good team player, interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
• Creative, able to think critically, a fast learner who is willing to take up work challenges in a dynamic ever-changing environment

We are pleased to announce that Link Summer Internship 2024 is now open for application, with a deadline of 21 April 2023 (Sunday).

This unique opportunity offers undergraduate students a structured training programme at Link from 2 July 2023 to 23 August 2023. During this 8-week internship programme, interns will have the chance to learn from our professional team to develop their talents, interpersonal skills and commercial knowledge as well as experience working in the largest REIT in Asia. We will also organise a range of activities, such as site tours, training workshop, networking events and many more, to complete the whole experience.

Students will be invited to deliver a presentation to our senior management at the end of their tenure. This is an opportunity to receive feedback and insights, which many considered this to be one of their most rewarding, inspiring and memorable moments during their journey with us.

All Link scholars who apply for the summer internship will automatically be offered to proceed for video interview.

Dear Student,

Invitation to Youth Start-up Internship Programme 2024

The Hong Kong Chartered Governance Institute (HKCGI or the Institute) is delighted to announce the launch of the Fourth Cohort of the ESG Reporting Certification Course, scheduled to take place from late March to May this year. The course aims to equip participants a comprehensive ESG reporting understanding and competencies, comprises 7 pre-recorded sessions, totaling 14 hours.

Registrants can view these recordings and complete the associated quizzes at their own pace from late March until the end of May 2024. The final assessment will be conducted online in June 2024. The first three Cohorts have achieved an impressive average passing rate of 98%.

This course has received approval under the Government’s Pilot GSF Capacity Building Supporting Scheme (the Scheme). After completing the course, participants can apply for a subsidy being 80% of the enrolment fees. Full-time university students who successfully complete the course will be eligible to apply for a 100% reimbursement of the course fees.

ESG is set to be one of the most significant global topics in the near future, and obtaining certification from the Institute could greatly enhance your career prospects.
