Green Quest Local Project Internship
When you draw “the Earth”… probably you will draw a circle with masses of green lands and blue oceans. But when you look out from the windows 30 years later, will it be the same?

In collaboration with World Wild Fund- Hong Kong (WWF-HK), the Undergraduate Halls (UGH) is recruiting Green Questers who are devoted to promoting green and sustainability in the Halls and in Hong Kong. Workshops on sustainability and project management will be provided before a student-initiated project internship supervised by WWF-HK and UGH. Under the internship, students will work in small teams to brainstorm and implement green projects at their own choice.

Programme Design and Schedule:
1. Online Theme Workshops on Sustainability by WWF-HK (CCL- recognised)
 >  21 & 28 January 2021 
2. Online Sharing on Green Lifestyle in Denmark by Danish Expert on Urban Communication and Analysis (CCL- recognised) > February 2021 (tentative) 
3. Project Internship (incl. planning and implementation of project) supervised by WWF- HK*>  February to April 2021
Participants will work in small teams on their own chosen topic related to green and sustainability under the supervision of WWF-HK and UGH Hall Life Team. Consultation hours will be decided between the team and the supervisors when the teams are formed.
4. Project Showcase* > 22 April 2021
Participants will present to the BU community on the project delivered or delivering.
*face-to-face meetings and field works will be arranged when circumstances allow.

Fee:  HK$ 1,000 (HK$ 700 will be refunded and a certificate will be provided on successful completion of the programme)
Allowance: The internship is supported by the Subsidised Internship Scheme. A lump-sum allowance of $750 will be granted to the participants completed the 30-hour internship with satisfactory performance. 
Eligibility:  Open to all UGC-funded degree seeking Undergraduate students, with priority to Halls residents
Major Medium of Instruction:  English
