Do you know what kind of wildlife can be found in Hong Kong?
Hong Kong is famous for being a compact urban centre and a concrete jungle, but the city also has a surprisingly rich biodiversity. Thousands of square kilometres of rugged coastline, mountain ranges and country parks make Hong Kong home to a wide range of wildlife. Located in the transition zone between the world’s tropical and temperate regions, the city’s biodiversity is much greater than usual for such a small area.
This workshop will cover the following topics for you to gain a well understanding on our precious biodiversity.

- How to discover nature surrounding us
- Threats to local biodiversity
- Policy of biodiversity protection in Hong Kong

Every people on this planet need to eat every day, however, have you ever questioned where does food come from? How does our consumption affect the world?
Hong Kong is a city of over-consumption. While food accounts for 16% of our daily use of renewable natural resources, we produce around 3,600 tonnes of food waste every day. Undoubtedly, Food is a major sustainability issue.
This workshop will cover the following topics to let you rethink of our food system.
