Student Ambassador Recruitment for Social Enterprise Summit

Social Enterprise Summit is the flagship conference in Hong Kong that advocates social entrepreneurship and social innovation. We coordinate the efforts of 20 organisations across the civil sector, the commercial sector, the government and the academia, with strong support from the Hong Kong SAR Government. Since its inception in 2008, SES has become a highly-acclaimed annual event attracting some 2,000-3,000 participants every year from Hong Kong, mainland China and the Asia Pacific region. The 2018 programme will be themed “Innovating for a Happier Society”. At the SES 2018 International Symposium from 22 – 24 Nov, some 40 social entrepreneurs from over locations including the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia, Thailand, South Korea, and Singapore will explore the future directions and trends of social innovation and social entrepreneurship development with case studies around the world.

Like in the past year, we would like to recruit students from universities to be our ambassador. Students will have the opportunity to be an audience of the international symposium session covering topics like business, art innovation, design thinking , sustainability and empowerment. Through being part of the team to contribute to the success of this symposium, students will have a deeper understanding of local and international social entrepreneurship and social innovation movements. In a practical point of view, student will learn the process and details of event management and pre-event preparation. Trainings, transportation allowance and lunch will be provided for ambassadors.
