2021 Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) – GBA Youth Employment Scheme

Standard Chartered Bank, as a key player in Greater Bay Area, has joined the GBA Youth Employment Scheme (GBA-YES) launched by the Hong Kong Government  to encourage and support young people to work and pursue their careers in the Mainland cities of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

The Scheme will offer a 18-month full-time opportunity to students graduated from 2019-2021 and allow them to understand the latest developments of both Hong Kong and those cities and leverage the opportunities for career advancement in the GBA.  Please refer to HK Government website for more information: https://www2.jobs.gov.hk/0/en/information/gbayes/ . The application will close soon, grasp the opportunity to get a taste what it is like to work in a financial institute. The successful candidate will join the Scheme no later than August 21’.

Opportunities include:

  • Banking Officer - opportunities ranging from corporate banking , financial markets and retail banking
  • Communication Officer  - opportunities to work in Corporate Affairs and Branding Marketing
  • Business Analyst – opportunities to work in the CEO Office
  • Control Functions Officer – opportunities in Compliance and Human Resources
  • Banking Operations Officer
  • Software Engineer

Programme Selection Process

  • Step 2: Select “GBA Youth Employment Scheme” under  Keywords
  • Step 3: Apply for the GBA position that best suits your interest, and complete the online tests.
  • Step 4: Invitation of video interview will be sent to you when you pass the online tests.
  • Step 5: HR interview.
  • Step 6: Business final Interview.

Requirements

  • All Majors welcome. Fluency in Mandarin and English.
  • Students who graduate between 2019 to 2021 in HK local universities or oversea universities.
  • Has the permanent legal right to work in Hong Kong.
