UG Housing Application

As hall places are limited, students are encouraged to apply for hall residence in their first year of studies to benefit most from whole-person education and hall life education. Anyway, students may submit their hall applications in the remaining years of undergraduate studies.

Yes, returning students and local freshmen can indicate 1 to 2 eligible applicants by putting down their student numbers and names in the online hall application as your preferred roommate(s).
 
Applications are assessed independently according to the Hall Admission Marking System. The choice of your roommate(s) will be considered only at the time of room assignment. Should one or all of your preferred roommate(s) withdraw or fail in their applications, then one or two other successful applicants may be assigned as your roommates. At this point, you will not be allowed to opt for other roommates.
