Dear final year students,

Common Recruitment Examination and Basic Law Test (Degree / Professional Grades) in October 2018

Please be informed that all candidates of the coming Common Recruitment Examination and Basic Law Test (Degree / Professional Grades) (CRE and BLT) in Hong Kong will be arranged to sit the examination on 6 October 2018.

An e-mail will be sent to candidates in the week of 17 September 2018 notifying them of the relevant examination details. Candidates should immediately contact the Civil Service Examinations Unit by phone at 2537 6429 or by e-mail to csbcseu@csb.gov.hk if they do not receive the e-mail by 24 September 2018.  Any requests for change of examination venue will not be considered. Examination results will be issued to candidates by post within one month after the examination.

General enquiries regarding the CRE and BLT may be directed to the Civil Services Bureau (CSB) Examination Unit by phone at 2537 6429 or by e-mail to csbcseu@csb.gov.hk. For more information and updates, please refer to the CSB website https://www.csb.gov.hk/.

In order to help students to familiarize with the CRE/BLT format, Career Centre will organize a series of mock practice sessions and training workshops in September / October. The schedule have been uploaded onto our enrollment system ‘workshop page’ (https://sa.hkbu.edu.hk/portal/career/enrollment/). Lenovo Global Future Leader Program (Poster)

WLP, which is one of the initiatives under the Pilot Programme to Enhance Talent Training for the Insurance Sector (Pilot Programme) launched by Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau, aims to provide a 16-month programme to degree or sub-degree holders for understanding the basic know-how, skills and knowledge of the insurance industry, especially in functional areas of insurance business, thorough the workplace and lecture, in order to recruit and nurture new blood for professional job functions in middle and back office of the insurance industry.

WLP’s Features
Programme features: Student-worker will work 4 days and study 1 day a week (Professional Diploma in Insurance at QF Level 4, tuition fee sponsored by employer), guaranteed monthly remuneration to student-worker (paid by employer), monthly allowance (granted by the Gov’t), overseas exchange opportunity etc.
