LinkedIn Learning (E-resources of HKBU Library)

LinkedIn Learning is an excellent channel for HKBU students to learn different skills from its resources bank with ample interactive materials. It also helps create learning incentives for students who can showcase the achievement certificates and badges earned in their profile on this world-leading networking platform. It is hoped that introducing and promoting LinkedIn Learning to students can create a self-learning atmosphere in the HKBU community.

Theme-based Learning Paths

The Career Centre (CC) has designed some theme-based learning paths according to the needs of different students. In general, there are two categories: Career Preparation and Skills Empowerment.

*1 CCL unit will be granted to students for every theme-based learning path completed. The maximum CCL units granted by completion of this online self-learning activity are capped at 3 for UGC-funded students and 2 for self-financed top-up degree students. **Students who have completed any linkedIn learning course with a duration of not less than 1 hour might also be granted a CCL unit upon approval, please submit your request by sending an email to Miss Yu Hon at yu_hon @hkbu.edu.hk.

Assist students to prepare for professional certification examinations
Empower students to gain industry-recognized credentials or internationally recognized certification

How to Apply for the Examination Subsidy

You are advised to complete the relevant LinkedIn Learning Path(s) before submitting the application form for the examination subsidy (e.g. if you wish to take the "Google Associate Android Developer Certification - Kotlin" examination, you should first complete the "Prepare for the Google Associate Android Developer Certification" learning path listed above).
After completing the relevant LinkedIn Learning Path(s), please fill in the application form here. DO NOT sign up for the examination before getting the approval from the Career Centre (submission of the application form does not indicate that your application is being approved).
