In Hong Kong today, more than 120,000 elderly who are aged 65 or above live alone and many of them are socially inactive due to multiple reasons including physical and mental health conditions. [UG] Study Tour on Elderly Care in Taiwan
14 - 20 NOV 2018Have you ever thought of spending your semester break in Taiwan?
A 6 day study tour to Taipei will be organised during the semester break which include service programmes with elderly in Taiwan, exchange session with students in Taiwan, University visit, cultural visits and New Year Celebration. Through the study tour, we would like students to have a better understanding of the elderly practices and policies in Taiwan and possible ways in which elderly in Hong Kong can benefit from it. It would also be an opportunity for participants to explore on the topic of aging and gain insight in the challenges and opportunities involved.- Period
