Teddy Lui joined Alibaba Group in 2009, leading business and partnership development for Alibaba.com in Asia Pacific. He is currently the Chief Commercial Officer of Alibaba Entrepreneurs Fund, running the Investment Program and building partnerships to drive growth in Hong Kong’s startup ecosystem. Simultaneously he is Chief Executive Officer of HKAI Lab which is dedicated to advance the frontiers of AI with cutting-edge technologies and experts, and empowering startups to commercialize their AI technologies. Prior to his current position, he was the General Manager of Alipay.com and Taobao.com for the Hong Kong and Macau markets. Teddy has more than 18 years of experience in online business, business development, partnership, eCommerce, FinTech and venture capital investment. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Los Angeles.
