HKPC Inno Space TechEd Network Partnership Scheme – supported by Career Centre

 

If you have an innovative idea or an on-going project and want to turn your concept into reality, join this programme! It offers a variety of facilities and services to you, including but not limited to industrial-grade machinery and equipment, work and activity spaces, technical training, workshops and seminars. You can translate your ideas/ projects into industrial designs, prototypes and products!

You can apply for a FREE membership* of Inno Space if you meet ALL of the below requirements:

  • HKBU full-time student/ Staff;
  • Have an innovative idea / on-going project

*HKBU membership period is 1 September 2024 - 31 August 2025.*

A. ALL-IN-ONE MAKER SPACE & TRAINING FACILITIES

1. FREE full year access to Inno Space

2. FREE admission to selected STEAM events happening in town

3. FREE booking of Inno Space meeting room and equipment

4. 50% OFF on Inno Prototype machines training workshops

5. FREE dedicated locker x1 at Inno Space

6. 50% OFF venue rental (Inno Network, classrooms and computer rooms to hold TechEd events and workshops)

7. Advanced Maker Workshops conducted by HKPC

B. EVENTS & PARTNERSHIPS

1. Collaboration on TechEd STEAM activities with Inno Space

2. InnoPreneur Network events to meet with start-ups/SMEs

3. Opportunities to showcase at Inno Space TechEd activities & Solution Shows

4. Invitation to jointly showcase with Inno Space at relevant Expos

 

Registration and access to HKPC:

1. Fill out the Registration for TechEd Network Partnership & TechEd School Scheme_2024HKBU form completely.

2. Submit the completed form in person at HKPC.

3. Contact HKPC technicians at 2788 5007 or 2788 5008 to arrange entry to HKPC and complete the membership registration process.

4. Remember to bring your student card whenever visiting HKPC to facilitate verification of your HKBU student status.

 

Training Information:

Prior to using specific machines, completion of a training session is mandatory. Please refer to Inno Space_Machine Training Fee_Membership rate for comprehensive details on machine training.

  • Each training session typically lasts for around 2 hours.
  • To maintain a safe and productive learning atmosphere, each training session can accommodate a maximum of 2 participants.
  • To schedule a training session, please contact the HKPC technicians at 2788 5007 or 2788 5008.
