Penalties and Demerit Points for Personal Belongings Left Unattended

For the sake of fire safety and to maintain the hallways free from obstacles, personal belongings should not be placed in the common areas inside the Halls.

Personal belongings left unattended in the common areas inside the Halls will be confiscated without prior notification.  The confiscated items will be kept in the G4 Service Counter for 7 calendar days and any unclaimed items will then be disposed of afterwards.

An administrative fee of $100 will be charged on resident(s) who claim back the items.  Residents who are reported leaving personal belongings in the common areas will be recorded 3, 6 and 9 demerit points for their 1st, 2nd and 3rd violation respectively.
