The Undergraduate Halls believe GREEN is a living style in striving for balance and aiming for economic, social, and environmental sustainability.  As complement to the green programs at the Undergraduate Halls, Green Quest is an annual green program organized by the Undergraduate Halls to enhance green awareness of HKBU students through seminar series and overseas experiential tour.

Green Quester Program: Thumbiano, Product Upcycling Workshop 綠影獵人活動:升級再造手指琴工作坊

The Undergraduate Halls Green Quester Programs aim to promote green and health mindfulness to students.  Upcycling is a way to rethink product design and instill new values in waste.  In this workshop, students will make their own Thumbiano with spokes collected from old bicycle wheels and wood from wine boxes.  Mr Kevin Cheung, an upcycling product designer, will lead the workshop and share his experience on product upcycling. Joint Hall Round Table Banquet is a chance for you to get connected with other non-local residents and learn Chinese dining culture with a 10 courses Chinese menu.

All non-local residents are welcome!

To encourage cultural exchange and appreciation, the Cultural Experience Award (CEA) creates an exchange platform for students from different cultural backgrounds to showcase their unique cultures, experiences and skills through programs designed on their own.  Past programs delivered by our student talents include language class, cooking competition, yoga learning, art appreciation, etc.
