Whole Person Development
05 MAY - 31 AUG 2020

As part of the SEED Startup Incubator program, Leadership Qualities Centre (LQC) has organized a series of startup trainings led by seasoned entrepreneurs and industry experts to develop students’ capacity required for the challenging entrepreneurship journeys.

The first of the seven seminars successfully kicked off on Tuesday, May 5, 2020, where Mr. Lawrence Lui, Co-Founder & Executive Director of Longevity Design House, was invited to share with us the ups and downs of his startup journey, lessons learned, and his personal gains and values through his unique experience.  This event has attracted great attention from students as close to 100 people attended the talk. From the feedback of the webinar, it is reported that over 60% of students have an interest in starting their own business, and their most interested fields include Trading of Goods, Food & Beverages, and Design and multimedia.

To continue the momentum and foster a greater entrepreneurial atmosphere, LQC will launch six more sessions, covering topics such as legal aspects of business startups, low cost marketing, online IT resources, pitching, and project and team management.
