Seminar on “Beware of Scams  Protect Your Personal Data” 「保障個人資料 識破詐騙陷阱」講座

Scams in various forms often involve swindling and embezzling citizens’ personal data, including names, identity card numbers, contact numbers, email addresses and credit card details. Students must stay vigilant at all times, especially when using smartphones and social media, in order to prevent fraudsters from obtaining your personal data.

The Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data (PCPD) organises this anti-fraud seminar to share the latest trends of scams, using real cases as examples, and provide practical tips to protect your personal data privacy when using smartphones, instant messaging software and social media. Students with an interest in the topic are welcome to attend.

 

形形色色的騙案，往往涉及騙取或盜用市民的個人資料，例如姓名、身份證號碼、聯絡電話、電郵、信用卡號碼及安全碼等等。同學必須要時刻提高警覺，尤其在使用智能電話及社交媒體時必須小心謹慎，以免騙徒獲取你的個人資料。

個人資料私隱專員公署（私隱專員公署）舉辦是次防騙講座，向同學介紹騙案的最新趨勢及分享一些常見騙案的真實案例，以及分享精明使用智能電話、即時通訊軟件和社交媒體以保障個人資料的貼士。歡迎對議題有興趣的同學參加。
