Eligibility
 
  • 1) Aged between 18 and 24 (must be 18 years old on the departure date).
     

  • 2) (i) Hold a valid Hong Kong permanent resident identity card, or
     

        (ii) Hold a valid Hong Kong resident identity card and be enrolled in a full-time programem in Hong Kong.
     

  • 3) Each participant may only take part in one international exchange program under *this funding scheme during the current year (2024-2025), regardless of whether it is organized by the same group.
    (*This funding scheme refers to the " Funding Scheme for International Youth Exchange 2024-25 " organised by the Youth Development Commission for the current year, 2024-2025.)

Screening Interview
 
  • Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend a screening interview on 2-4 December 2024  from 15:00-19:00.
     
Fees
 
  • HK$8,000/person or HK$5,000/person^ (^the latter applies only to eligible applicants for the "Pilot Scheme for Subsidy for Underprivileged Youth for Overseas Exchange") (including a refundable deposit of HK$2,000)

  • Costs include round trip flight ticket, accommodation, meals and activities arranged by WLN, excluding visa.

  • $2,000 refundable upon full-attendance of all the trainings, services, and post-trip activity with satisfactory performance.

  • Successful applicants will be notified shortly after the screening interview.

  • To indicate the acceptance of offer, the programme fee has be to settled before the given deadline. All fee paid are non-refundable.
