Wellness Coach is a training programme that allows individuals to apply key concepts from Positive Psychology to one’s personal and professional life. Positive Psychology, founded by Dr Martin E.P. Seligman, is a scientific approach to study the relationship among character strengths, positive emotions, human behaviors and happiness. It aims to help individuals in understanding and utilising their character strengths in a wide spectrum of areas including relationship, stress management, education, coaching, and etc.
After the trainings, student can exhibit positive emotions, enhance communication skills, develop growth mindset, better encounter stress and challenges, and motivate others to live a happier life.
2 CCL unit will be recognised for HKBU students with full attendance

Part 1: Training on Positive Psychology and PERMA
Date & Time: 18:30-21:00, 12 February & 19 Feb 2025 (Wednesday)

Part 2: Skills Application: Positive Psychology Showcase and Community Service
Date: 26 February 2025 PM (Wednesday) (for showcase preparation)
Date & Time: 4 March 2025 PM (Tuesday) (Showcase)
Unleash your creativity and collaborate with your peers to design an engaging, interactive showcase that will enlighten and empower your fellow schoolmates.
Part 3: Become an Observer in various LQC’s activities
[Exclusive for Wellness Coach Participants] You'll also have the opportunity to volunteer in LQC’s community caring activities, where you can uncover the "character strengths" of our participants.
Programme Details:
Eligibility: All UG students from full-time UGC-funded programmes
Medium of instruction: English, with Cantonese support (students of all nationalities are welcome)
Refundable Deposit: $200 (refundable upon completion of Part 1 & 2 of the programme)
