The Discover with Peers series aims to strengthen the co-learning in the student community. The initiative encourages students from different cultural backgrounds to explore wellness, experience one another's local culture, and foster communication between local and non-local students through experiential workshops/ activities.
Eligibility: Open to all local and non-local undergraduate students, priority for UG students living on campus
[CCL] Discover with Peers: The Flow — Yoga & Meditation (Sep - Nov 2026)
Build flexibility and strength, and cultivate mindfulness in this all-levels Vinyasa yoga class. Each session includes breathing exercises, mindful movement, and a short guided meditation to help you slow down. You'll be offered pose variations for both beginners and those seeking more challenge.
Classes are designed so you can join anytime—each session stands alone, while regular practice helps build consistency and progress.
Whether you want to unwind, get stronger, or simply take time for yourself, classes are designed for you leaving feeling refreshed and balanced in body and mind. No experience is needed—just wear comfortable clothes and come ready to move.
About the instructor: Cheryl
Since 2017, Cheryl has been teaching yoga and mindfulness across Hong Kong and Vietnam, working with yoga studios, corporate clients, schools and NGOs.
With a trauma-informed approach, Cheryl creates welcoming and accessible classes that encourage mindfulness and self-care. Her intention is to support each student in feeling safe, present, and empowered in their own body.

[CCL] Discover with Peers: The Rhythm — Hip Hop Dance (28 Sep OR 5 Oct 2026)
Join your peers for an exciting night learning the foundations of Hip Hop Dance to boost your confidence and enhance your overall well-being. You will discover how dance improves body coordination, sparks creativity and strengthens teamwork.
About the instructor: Kia
Kia is a choreographer and Hip Hop dancer with nine years of dancing experience. She has participated in various performances and competitions, including the Hong Kong International Chinese New Year Night Parade, Citygate Outlet Chinese New Year Performance, Deep Ng Concert, GU Flash Mob, Figure OUCH!, MIRROR Manifest W.T.F Live, EDAN LUI "e to E" LIVE, etc.
