深耕十二載：一帶一路的成果與挑戰 」講座

國家主席習近平自2013年提出「一帶一路」倡議，「絲綢之路經濟帶」與「21世紀海上絲綢之路」沿線國家和地區之間的合作取得了巨大成就。經過12年的深耕，約有一百五十個國家(佔世界人口的三分之二)已經簽署了合作協定以共同實現「一帶一路」的願景。「一帶一路」是世紀工程，遠至非洲及拉美國家，可能要花上100年才能完成，如果能夠成功實現的話，對世界有著深遠宏大的影響。
 
身為著名地質學家、水利專家、佛教徒和文學家的李焯芬教授亦為「一帶一路」專家，見識淵博。作為海上絲綢之路協會成立十周年重點項目，海絲會很榮幸邀請到李焯芬教授主持講座，分享其對「一帶一路」的真知灼見。

Seminar on “Twelve Years of Implementation: the Belt and Road Initiative’s Accomplishments And Challenges”

Since the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) was first proposed by Chinese President Xi Jinping in 2013 to promote cooperation among countries and territories along “The Silk Road Economic Belt” and “The 21st Century Maritime Silk Road”, there have been marvelous achievements of the BRI throughout the decade. After 12 years of implementation, more than 150 countries – accounting for two-thirds of the world’s population – have signed on to the agreements to cooperate in the realization of the vision of the BRI. The BRI project is a century-long endeavour, stretching as far as Africa and Latin America, and if successfully realized, will have far-reaching and grandiose impacts on the world.
 
As a renowned geologist, a hydrologist, Buddhist and writer, Prof Lee Chack Fan is also a knowledgeable expert on the BRI. Also as a key project of the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Maritime Silk Road Society, the MSRS is honoured to invite Professor Lee to share his insights on the BRI.
