Student Helper Weekly Working Hours Operating System (WHOS)

  • Before accepting any student helper job offer, students should log in and check the balance of working hours in the Student Helper Weekly Working Hours Operating System (WHOS).
  • All full-time undergraduates (local and non-local), full-time postgraduates (local and non-local) and full-time sub-degree students (local only) would be eligible to undertake part-time work on campus for not more than 12 hours per week (Sunday to Saturday).

Access WHOS to get work permit: https://sa-info.hkbu.edu.hk/portal/career/whos/

(* Note: WHOS is not a job-seeking platform. To find student helper jobs, please check the BUhub platform.)

WHOS is introduced to monitor the working hours of students and provide prompt advice on balancing work and study.

The system only applies to the work assignments which take place on campus and during semester time. The summer period, June to August, is excluded.
