GBA Mentoring Programme

You can:

  • gain an understanding of businesses and career prospects in the GBA;

  • identify the requirements and expectations of certain professions; and

  • establish networks within the HKBU community.

✓ Our mentors have solid work experience within business or professional fields, preferably with GBA knowledge experience.

 

 

HKBU Young Executive Mentoring Programme

You can:

  • develop a positive relationship with your mentors for career planning and development;

  • identify the entry requirements and expectations of certain professions; and

  • establish networks in your interested industries.

✓  Our mentors are young executives in various industries with 3-15 years solid work experience and dedicated to nurturing the next generation.

 

 
Responsibilities and Commitments of Participants
 
  • Attend the kick-off ceremony and other meetings with the mentor.
  • Commit to meeting with the mentor at least three times.
  • Fill in the activity log book OR Write a reflective paper of around 300 words in English to summarise your experience in the Programme (The activity log book will be sent to all mentees).
  • Maintain confidentiality.
 
Completion
 
  • Students who meet with the mentor three times will be awarded a certification of completion.
The kick-off ceremonies are scheduled in early and Mid-Feb. Details will be announced in due course.
 
 
Registration
 
Deadline of application: 15 Jan 2023 (Sun)
 
Students will be informed by a separate email for successful registration.
