What's on your plate today could help shape the future of our planet.

From farm to table, every food choice matters.

This academic year, World Vision Hong Kong invites university students to explore the relationship between food systems and climate change through a series of activities, including a summit, experiential learning opportunities, and a low-carbon recipe competition.

Participants who complete the programme journey will receive a certificate and be recognised as WVHK Carbon Neutrality Champion.

To become a Carbon Neutrality Champion, participants need to:

  • Attend the Summit

  • Join at least ONE experiential activity

  • Form a team of four and participate in the Low-Carbon Recipe Competition

你今日食嘅 Lunch，原來同氣候變化有關？ 

食物由農田到餐桌，每一個選擇都影響住地球未來。

今個學年，香港世界宣明會邀請大學生加入由環境及自然保育基金資助嘅 「識食更要『惜』碳」從農田到餐桌低碳生活教育計劃」，透過高峰會、體驗活動同低碳食譜設計比賽，探索食物系統同氣候變化嘅關係，將知識化為行動！

完成整個學習歷程，即可獲頒證書，並成為 World Vision Hong Kong Carbon Neutrality Champion！

你需要：

  • 參加高峰會
  • 參與最少 1 項體驗活動
  • 4 人一組參加低碳食譜設計比賽

Introduction

Environment and Conservation Fund (ECF)-funded “Let’s Chill with Low Carbon” From Farm to Table Education Project.

The project aims to engage university students in exploring the connections between climate change, food systems, and sustainable living through a learning journey that combines expert insights, experiential activities, and practical action. Students may participate in individual activities or complete the full programme to become a Carbon Neutrality Champion.

STEP 1 (Required)
'Let’s Chill with Low Carbon' From Farm to Table Summit 2026
17 October 2026

STEP 2
Participate in at least one experiential learning activity, including:

  • Sustainable agriculture experience
  • Fruit Rescue Journey
  • Low-carbon cooking workshop
  • Climate simulation workshop

STEP 3 (Required)
Participate in the Low-Carbon Recipe Competition

Upon successful completion, participants will receive a Carbon Neutrality Champion Certificate and be recognised as a WVHK Carbon Neutrality Champion.

Students are also welcome to participate in individual activities based on their interests. Participation in the Certificate Programme is optional.
