  • To engage with local students and teachers, fostering mutual understanding of the country's development
  • To gain insights in importance of environmental conservation and enhance the sense of responsibility for the country's sustainable development

  • Visit Saint Sophia Cathedral (聖索菲亞教堂)

  • Visit Harbin Drug Group Pharmaceutical Factory 6 / Harbin Printmaking Museum (哈藥六廠（哈藥六版畫博物館）)
  • Depart from Harbin to Changchun

Day 4
7 Jan 2027

  • Visit Jilin Museum (吉林省博物院)
  • Visit Jingyuetan National Forest Park (淨月潭國家森林公園)

Day 5

  • Visit Jilin Univeristy (吉林大學)
  • Cultural exchange with the local students
  • Visit Museum of the Imperial Palace of Manchukuo (偽滿皇宮博物院)

  • Visit the government office (吉林省生態環境廳)
  • Visit local corporations in Changchun

Day 7

  • Visit Changchun Culture Of Water Ecology Park (長春水文化生態園)
  • Return to Hong Kong

Eligibility

1) All HKBU UGC and non UGC-funded UG students are welcome

2) Aged between 18 and 29 (must be 18 years old on the departure date) 

3) (i) Hold a valid Hong Kong permanent resident identity card, or (ii) Hold a valid Hong Kong resident identity card and be enrolled in a full-time programme in Hong Kong. 

4) Each participant may join no more than two mainland exchange programmes under *this funding scheme during the current year (2026-2027), regardless of whether they are organised by the same group. 

(*This funding scheme refers to the " Funding Scheme for Youth Exchange in the Mainland " organised by the Youth Development Commission for the current year, 2026-2027.)

 

Quotas
  • 20 quotas

 

Screening Interview
  • Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend a screening interview.

 

 

Fees
  • General participants: HK$4,800/person (Pending approval from Home and Youth Affairs Bureau and Youth Development Commission) + HK$2,500 refundable deposit
  • Eligible participants for the "Pilot Scheme for Subsidy for Underprivileged Youth for Overseas Exchange 基層青年境外交流資助試⾏計劃: HK$500/person + HK$2,500 refundable deposit
  • Costs includes transportation, accommodation, meals, insurance, and various activities
  • Successful applicants will be notified shortly after the screening interview.
  • To indicate the acceptance of offer, the programme fee has be to settled before the given deadline. All fee paid are non-refundable.
