First Generation University Student Fund

First-Generation University Student Fund (FGF) is now accepting 2021/22 first round application from new applicants until 31 October 2021. Successful applicants will receive up to $15,000 for participating in different outside-of-classroom learning activities.

Miss Tse Man Kiu Anna, a recent graduate of the Department of Music, has been selected as an awardee of the Hong Kong Scholarship for Excellence Scheme 2021 (HKSES) to pursue postgraduate studies overseas with a scholarship of up to HK$300,000 per annum.

ethnic minority scholarship

HKBU joined the Ethnic Minority Scholarship Fair on 25 September organised by The Zubin Foundation to promote the unique Admission Scholarship Scheme for Outstanding South and South East Asian Ethnic Minority Students (EMSS) to potential applicants. The EMSS for 2022 entry will open application in early November 2021.

Sports Activity Grant

With the sponsor of UGC Special Activity Grant for Student-Initiated Sports Events, University YMCA (Uni-Y) organised “Be in the SAME boat” for participants to experience kayaking and dragon boat in August. Students enjoyed the outdoor workshop with new skills learned!

Virtual Fair

Virtual Student Organisation Fair 2021 was launched in August 2021 to introduce our student societies/clubs to fellow students. Both student leaders and freshmen enjoyed their discussion in the interactive online “Meet and Greet” sessions.

Rowing Club participated in the Jackie Chan Challenge Cup Hong Kong Universities Rowing Championships on 14 and 15 August 2021. Join us in appreciating their hard work and congratulating on their achievements!
