    TREATS Inclusive Scholarship Scheme 2023 (Deadline: 31 January 2023)

    TREATS Inclusive Scholarship Scheme 2023 (“The Scheme”) aims to recognize and support local youth with all abilities and backgrounds to pursue their aspirations in different aspects. By unleashing awardees’ potential and talent through learning and development opportunities, they are empowered for their full participation in society.

     

    Up to 10 awardees for each year and each awardee will be granted a scholarship of a maximum value of HK$10,000 per year. The course / training fees, necessary equipment, meals, travel and transportation expenses incurred by the course / training will be covered by the scholarship amount.

    HSBC has a long history of supporting charitable programmes that help people in the community develop the skills for the jobs of today and tomorrow. To help Hong Kong’s next generation prepare for a future that is increasingly intertwined with the Greater Bay Area (GBA), the HSBC Greater Bay Area (Hong Kong) Scholarship is established to encourage Hong Kong students to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge that will help them become competitive, confident, and employable as they pursue a successful and rewarding career in GBA.

     

    Up to 30 students from across the 13 universities / institutions in Hong Kong are to be identified in the 2022-23 academic year to receive a one-time scholarship award of HKD80,000 which is intended for uses that help realise the awardees’ career plan in GBA.

    HSBC has a long history of supporting educational activities and nurturing young people for the betterment of the community. For the 2022-23 academic year, HSBC is offering HSBC Hong Kong Scholarship, at HK$50,000 each, to up to six HKBU local full-time undergraduate students. Up to nine eligible candidates will be nominated for the final selection by HSBC.

    Admission Scholarship Scheme for Outstanding South and South East Asian Ethnic Minority Students (EMSS) (for new students admitted to HKBU in 2023-24)

    Admission Scholarship Scheme for Outstanding South and South East Asian Ethnic Minority Students (EMSS) (for new students admitted to HKBU in 2023-24)

    To increase the access to University education for qualified students from traditionally under-represented Hong Kong communities, and to broaden the horizons of all students at HKBU through cross-cultural interactions, Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) has been offering the Admission Scholarship Scheme for Outstanding South and South East Asian Ethnic Minority Students (EMSS) since 2017/18, for deserved local ethnic minority students who are admitted to full-time UGC-funded undergraduate degree programmes via JUPAS or non-JUPAS.

     

    For 2023-24, the Scholarship will be funded by Village CARE Campaign under the title of “HKBU Village CARE Campaign Admission Scholarship Scheme for Outstanding South and South East Asian Ethnic Minority Students”.
