    EDPS Innovation Scholarship Program 2023-24 (Deadline: 30 April 2024)

    The EDPS Innovation Scholarship Program is open for application now. A total of 80 scholarships will be offered in the next 4 academic years (AY2023-AY2027; 20 scholarships for each year) to undergraduate students in their last year of college with a major in IT/Computer Science to recognize their academic accomplishments.

     

    Applicants shall include innovative projects using emerging technologies in the following areas:

    • Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning
    • Blockchain, FinTech & Web3
    • Cyber Security
    • Digital Infrastructure and Digital Transformation
    • Metaverse & Extended Reality (AR, VR & MR)

     

    Applicants who are a full-time student and enrolled in one of the universities in Hong Kong can be considered for the Individual Scholarships and the Group Scholarships, which the Individual Scholarships will be HKD$20,000 and the Group Scholarships will be HKD$30,000.

    Sign up HKBU First-Generation University Student Fund (FGF) NOW!!

    HKBU First-Generation University Student Fund (FGF) was established to help unlock precious opportunities for BU’s first-generation local undergraduates to participate in diverse outside-of-classroom learning activities and develop in an all-rounded manner. Successful applicants will receive up to $15,000 for participating in different outside-of-classroom learning activities. The subsidy amount will be pro-rata for applicants of senior years. Therefore, the earlier you apply for the Fund, the higher amount of subsidy you are entitled to. 

    New applicants who meet the eligibilities can now sign up FGF. Please click here for more details.

    HKBU SEED Fund – Emergency Financial Relief

    HKBU SEED Fund – Emergency Financial Relief

    UGC-funded full-time undergraduate and postgraduate students with unforeseeable proven financial hardship caused by emergency situations may apply for financial assistance from the SEED Fund at any time in the academic year. Submission of application form with supporting documents is required.

     HKBU Awards for Global Vision

    The HKBU Awards for Global Vision was established to support students to broaden their global vision and exposure through participating in international competitions, conferences, performances or festivals as delegates of the University. The Awards also help raise the University’s profile by having more students demonstrating their academic or co-curricular talents and achievements in the international arena.     Note: In the event of unforeseeable circumstances, such as extreme weather, that resulted in the sudden closure of SFA Counter on the day of the deadline, SFA will extend the deadline of application to 5:30pm of the following working day.
