    University of Bristol Post-Graduate Scholarship for 2018/19

    The Hong Kong Branch of the Bristol University Alumni Association in Hong Kong is offering a scholarship to a suitably qualified student from Hong Kong going to Bristol for post-graduate studies in the academic year commencing in October 2018. The Scholarship will be available in conjunction with a one-year Master’s degree programme in any field of study, and is intended to assist with tuition fees payable to the University, up to a maximum of £15,000.     HSBC Hong Kong Scholarship 2017/18

    HSBC has a long history of supporting educational activities and nurturing young people for the betterment of the community. For the 2017/18 academic year, HSBC is offering HSBC Hong Kong Scholarship, at HK$50,000 each, to up to six HKBU local full-time undergraduate students. Up to nine eligible candidates will be nominated for final selection by HSBC.     HKSAR Government Endeavour Merit Award 2017/18

    The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Government has established the Endeavour Merit Award (EMA) to give recognition to deserving post-secondary students with special educational needs (SEN) in the pursuit of excellence in academic and other areas. SEN are as specified below:
    * Specific learning disabilities
    * Intellectual disabilities
    * Autism spectrum disorders
    * Attention deficit / hyperactivity disorder
    * Physical disability
    * Visual impairment
    * Hearing impairment
    * Speech and language impairment

     

    In the 2017/18 academic year, a total of 4 HKBU students will be awarded the EMA at HK$10,000 each. Please click here for more details.

    The University of Birmingham Hong Kong Postgraduate Scholarships 2018/19

    The University of Birmingham Hong Kong Postgraduate Scholarships has been established since 1985 and enables the selected candidates to pursue one-year Master’s degree programmes at the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom. The selected candidates are expected to make contribution to the community of the Hong Kong after the completion of their studies. The scholarship is a tuition fee award, worth up to the cost of a laboratory based course which is paid directly to the University of Birmingham.     HKSAR Government Self-financing Post-secondary Scholarship Scheme 2017/18

    To promote the development of the self-financing post-secondary sector, the Self-financing Post-secondary Scholarship Scheme (SPSS) is set up by the HKSAR Government under the Self-financing Post-secondary Education Fund to offer scholarships and awards to students pursuing full-time Higher Diploma in Film (HD in Film) and Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) in Accountancy (BCom Accountancy) programmes at HKBU. For the 2017/18 academic year, there are four types of scholarships offered under the Scheme for our University:

     

    1) Outstanding Performance Scholarship (OPS)

    2) Talent Development Scholarship (TDS)

    3) Reaching Out Award (ROA)

    4) Best Progress Award (BPA)
