Tsim Sha Tsui District Kai Fong Welfare Association Admission Scholarship Scheme for Outstanding South and South East Asian Ethnic Minority Students (EMSS) 尖沙咀街坊福利會南亞及東南亞少數族裔傑出學生入學獎學金 (For 2018/19 entry)15 - 31 JAN 2018
With the generous donations made by the Tsim Sha Tsui District Kai Fong Welfare Association, Tsim Sha Tsui District Kai Fong Welfare Association Admission Scholarship Scheme for Outstanding South and South East Asian Ethnic Minority Students (EMSS) has been established to award outstanding local ethnic minority students who are admitted to full-time UGC-funded undergraduate degree programmes offered by the University via JUPAS or non-JUPAS. At least one parent of the applicant should report an ethnic heritage from one of the designated South and Southeast Asian countries. Selection criteria include academic potential, financial needs, participation in community service and extra-curricular activities, leadership qualities, goals and desire to contribute to society, as well as other talents or non-academic achievements.
The application deadline for both JUPAS and Non-JUPAS applicants for 2018/19 intake has been extended to 31 January 2018, please click here for more details.

The Reaching Out Award (ROA) was established by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Government to equip students with an international vision, broaden their exposure to multicultural environment and enhance their communication skills. Note: In the event of unforeseeable circumstances, such as extreme weather, that resulted in the sudden closure of SFA Counter on the day of the deadline, SFA will extend the deadline of hard copy application form submission to 5:30pm of the following working day. However, the online application platform will close as scheduled, and no extension will be offered.

Hong Kong Arts Development Council (HKADC) is launching two scholarship schemes, namely “Local Arts Administration Scholarships 2018” and “Overseas Arts Administration Scholarships 2018”, to support promising local arts administrators to further their studies in Hong Kong and abroad in order to strengthen their professionalism. The C. Y. Tung Scholarship is donated by the Hon Tung Chee Hwa and his family to honor his father C. Y. Tung. Each fall voyage, a minimum of two students, attending U.S. universities and five Chinese national students, attending Universities in China, are awarded a US$20,000 scholarship, which covers the tuition fee of the SAS programme.
Founded in 1963, Semester at Sea (SAS) is the world’s premier global comparative education programme open to students of all majors from around the world. The programme is administered by the Institute for Shipboard Education (ISE) and the Colorado State University is the academic sponsor. Over the past five decades, SAS sailed about 110 voyages, educated 55,000 students from 1,700 institutions around the world and travelled to more than 60 countries.
The 2018 Fall Voyage (9 September - 23 December 2018) is now open for online application while the application of C. Y. Tung Scholarship will open on 12 February 2018. Please click here for more details.

The Women's Foundation Hong Kong Scholarship Scheme 2018/19 for the MPhil in Multi-disciplinary Gender Studies at the University of Cambridge is now open for application. The University of Cambridge operates a scholarship scheme which awards eligible students who have been admitted to the University to study for the MPhil in Multi-disciplinary Gender Studies. The Scholarship, which provides for the University and college fees plus a stipend towards living expenses, will be granted on the basis of academic excellence. Please click here for more information.
