    HKBU Elite Athletes Admission Scheme (EAAS) (for new students admitted to HKBU in 2020/21)

    HKBU Elite Athletes Admission Scheme (EAAS) has been established by HKBU to award local elite athletes who are admitted to full‐time UGC‐funded undergraduate degree programmes offered by the University via JUPAS or non‐JUPAS. Eligible applicants should have sport talent and achieved outstanding results in sport at admission. The scholarships are renewable for up to 4 years subject to the students’ academic results, good progress in sport training and performance as well as contributions to the Sport Leadership Programme.

    Admission Scholarship Scheme for Outstanding South and South East Asian Ethnic Minority Students (EMSS) (for new students admitted to HKBU in 2020/21)

    Admission Scholarship Scheme for Outstanding South and South East Asian Ethnic Minority Students (EMSS) (for new students admitted to HKBU in 2020/21)

    With the generous donations made by the Tsim Sha Tsui District Kai Fong Welfare Association, Admission Scholarship Scheme for Outstanding South and South East Asian Ethnic Minority Students (EMSS) has been established to award outstanding local ethnic minority students who are admitted to full-time UGC-funded undergraduate degree programmes offered by the University via JUPAS or non-JUPAS. At least one parent of the applicant should report an ethnic heritage from one of the designated South and Southeast Asian countries. Selection criteria include academic potential, financial needs, participation in community service and extra-curricular activities, leadership qualities, goals and desire to contribute to society, as well as other talents or non-academic achievements.

    Hong Kong Association of University Women (HKAUW) Postgraduate and Undergraduate Scholarships 2019/20 (Deadline: 11 Oct 2019)

    HKAUW Postgraduate Scholarships aim at recognising and encouraging female postgraduates who conduct high quality original research that are of significant value to our society and to the body of knowledge. Successful candidates should also demonstrate leadership in team work, achievements in their chosen disciplines through research and practice, and involvement in community service. Each HKAUW Postgraduate Scholarship recipient will receive a Certificate of Award and HK$20,000. Hong Kong Baptist University will nominate five postgraduate students for HKAUW's consideration and selection.

     

    HKAUW Undergraduate Scholarships aim at recognising and encouraging female students with exceptional academic attainments and active involvement in community service. Each HKAUW Undergraduate Scholarship recipient will receive a Certificate of Award and HK$5,000. Hong Kong Baptist University will nominate two undergraduate students for HKAUW's consideration and selection.

    Note: In the event of unforeseeable circumstances, such as extreme weather, that resulted in the sudden closure of SFA Counter on the day of the deadline, SFA will extend the deadline of application to 5:30pm of the following working day.

    Sir Edward Youde Memorial Award Schemes 2019/20 (Deadline: 27 September 2019)

    The Sir Edward Youde Memorial Award Schemes are now open for applications from students of the eight UGC-funded institutions. The different categories of awards are as follows:


    1) Fellowships for Postgraduate Research Students
    2) Scholarships for Undergraduate and Diploma Students
    3) Fellowship for Disabled Students
    4) Scholarship for Disabled Students

    The R C Lee Centenary Scholarship 2020 (Deadline: 5 October 2019)

    The scholarships are intended to encourage very bright young men and women who are graduates of a university in Hong Kong to pursue their studies at a university of high academic standing outside Hong Kong, whether at doctoral, master’s or bachelor’s level.
