HKBU students perform in the VI6E Concert for the first time

Three Korean students from HKBU performed in the VI6E Concert held on 26 March by the Korean Students' Union in Hong Kong (KSUHK) to promote multiculturalism. The event was supported by HKBU’s Office of Student Affairs and it was the first time for HKBU students to participate in KSUHK’s concert.

The VI6E Concert, which was suspended for three years due to the pandemic, was held at the Tsang Chan Sik Yue Auditorium. Over 90 students from six local universities, including HKBU, formed different bands, choirs and dance groups to showcase their talents, promote cultural exchanges and build friendships. The event attracted an audience of more than 350 people, including Mr Baek Yong-Chun, Consul-General of the Republic of Korea in Hong Kong, and a number of representatives from the Korean institutions in Hong Kong.

This year, with the inclusion of HKBU in KSUHK and the concert, the name of the concert has been changed from VI5E to VI6E.
