Give Blood Save Life

Blood donation is a simple act of kindness that can have a profound impact. The Blood Donation Campaign 2023 was successfully held on campus from October 18 to 26, with the participation of 145 students and staff. 22 students have been awarded the Young Donor Medal, bringing the total number of medals earned by HKBU students to 122 since the program's inception in the 2022/23 school year. This remarkable achievement highlights the commitment and generosity of our students towards blood donation.

We are proud to announce that the University has been honored with the Elite Partnership Awards 2023 by the Hong Kong Red Cross Blood Transfusion Service, recognizing our ongoing collaboration. The award was presented to Prof. Henry Fock, Director of Student Affairs, by Dr. Lee Cheuk Kwong, the CEO and Medical Director of the Hong Kong Red Cross Blood Transfusion Service.
