About
Participants will be equipped with core skills required for letter counselling. In the training,  you will be able to understand children’s developmental needs and the impacts of family on children growth, learn basic counselling techniques and Japanese Nagomi Pastel Art. Upon completion of all trainings, students are required to reply 2 letters as practicum in order to be certified as volunteers of ‘Uncle Long-leg’ Letter Box.

In the end, students will produce 300 Christmas Cards using Japanesen Nagomi Pastel Art and send it out together with their reply letters to kids. Students will also have a chance to assist campaigns in Hong Kong to promote ‘Uncle Long-leg’ Letter Box to the general public.

Schedule
- Training Workshop: 8, 15, 22 & 29 Oct 2022 (every Saturdays from 10:00 to 15:00 with 1-hour lunch break)
- Service:  Provide 8 hours of service in campaigns on 3, 16, 17, 18 or 24 Dec 2022
