About
Summer School 2022 @ Imagination Lab is a signature programme in Leadership Qualities Centre, aiming to encourage aspiration of underprivileged children in Hong Kong through offering a series of thrilling learning activities, outdoor excursion and visits to corporations designed by a group of dedicated HKBU students.
Objectives
- To foster HKBU students’ caring spirit for the community;
- To enrich HKBU students with leadership skills;
- To provide underprivileged students with university experience so as to encourage aspiration.

- Children aged 8-11 nominated by school principal

Summer School 2022 @ Imagination Lab
With the generous support from the Wofoo Social Entreprises and HKBU Century Club, Summer School 2022 was held in mid Aug. Nearly eighty primary four to primary six students participated in the five-day event, aiming to encourage their aspiration and cultiviate them with creative mindset. Twenty university students took part in the preparation and activities design, accumulated over 800 hours of service.
Summer School 2021 @ University Experience for Underpriviledged Children
Summer School 2021 was held successfully for the first time in late July 2021. Forty-four primary four to primary six students joined the six-day event, which aimed to boost their motivation to learn and help them build up a positive attitude to life. The programme is sponsored by the Kowloon City District Youth Programme Committee and HKBU Century Club
