Why should I join the Corps

To serve our community
With thematic experiential learning activities, you will learn how to serve the community as one of the Corps members. You will also explore various social issues, such as mental wellness, poverty, etc.

To be a better me
Leadership Corps programme consists of multi-dimensional trainings designed to enhance your leadership knowledge and skills in collaborating with team members and expanding your awareness of the community and the world.

To learn in an overseas study trip
Selected Corps members will be provided with the privilege to join an overseas study trip to enrich learnings about global issues. The trip includes visiting local agencies and universities, participating in an international conference, and taking part in experiential learning activities.

To make friends
Together we form a team. In the programme, your teammates will be your greatest support whom you create memories with.

About the Corps

HKBU Student Leadership Corps is a tailor-made leadership training programme for you to enhance your personal qualities, ability to collaborate with teammates, understanding of the community and global affairs. After completing the training, you will become a member of HKBU Student Leadership Corps well equipped to serve the community in need.

Participants with outstanding performance will be selected to join the overseas study trip to further explore global issues.

Overseas Trip

HKBU Student Leadership Corps Overseas Study Trip

Destination: United Kingdom (TBC*)
Eligibility: Selected Members of HKBU Student Leadership Corps
Date: Summer 2022 (TBC)
Fee: TBC
*If the pandemic situation does not permit, the overseas study trip will be delayed to Summer 2023.

Fee

  • HKD 1,200

Qualifications Participants will be awarded with certificate after completing the whole course

Overseas Trip

Selected corps members will be subsidized to an overseas learning trip
