About
Participants will learn basic crochet skills to produce various handmade festive products such as Christmas hat, Christmas stick, rosette pin, etc. Young mothers will serve as tutors in the workshop. Besides equipping with basic crochet skills, students will get a chance to sharpen their communication skills and project management skills through trainings conducted by registered social worker.
Fifteen hours of service will be arranged during Christmas time. To share the love and joy of this festive season with others, you will be the volunteer tutor to teach children and elderly to crochet the festive products learnt in the training workshop. At the same time, you will have a chance to organise service programme(s) (e.g. funfair) to distribute your handmade goods to the public.
