The Jockey Club Campus of Creativity (JC³) integrates Village CARE (Creative Arena for Residential Education) and a Jockey Club Creative Hub in one complex with the objective of fulfilling and advancing core elements of the Institutional Strategic Plan 2018-28 of Hong Kong Baptist University.
To offer the best learning experience for students in a residential setting, delivering transdisciplinary academic excellence in a caring, creative, and global culture.
To enable student residents to care for the common good of humankind by addressing creatively the local and global challenges through its transdisciplinary thematic curricular and co-curricular programmes in the residential setting.
The Village CARE will offer a total of 1,726 student residential places for research postgraduate students, local and non-local undergraduate students, as well as exchange students in academic year 2024-25. It will provide a unique opportunity for the University to develop residential education which aims to work in synchrony with the formal curriculum to deliver the best student experience for the achievement o whole person development.
