    The Human Library is a place where “real” people with disabilities are on loan to readers who “read” through conversations that are able to challenge stereotypes and prejudices through dialogue. Students are welcome to share their thoughts and explore those unique experiences.  Eligible students who enrolled in UGC-funded programmes are welcome to attend this workshop.

    Sign Language Core Course (English)

    Our Introduction to Hong Kong Sign Language (HKSL) course teaches you how to communicate with Deaf people, how to use HKSL in everyday situations and be immersed in the Deaf culture. During the course, a variety of different topics including numbers & time, family, travel, food & drink, hobbies and lifestyle would be introduced.  You will also begin to learn how to structure sentences using HKSL grammar and syntax. Please note that the language instruction of this course is in English.  Eligible students who enrolled in UGC-funded programmes are welcome to attend this workshop.

    Embrace Inclusiveness: The Miracle of the Factory for the Blind 看不見的精彩:從盲人工廠看出殘障人士之潛能

    Established in 1963, the Factory for the Blind is the vocational rehabilitation service unit under the Hong Kong Society for the Blind, provides different types of job training skills to the disabled persons. Throughout the visit, students would be able to interact with service users and explore the different types of job skills that service users learnt from the Factory. Students also have the opportunity to enjoy a soap-making workshop with service users and professional instructors. Eligible students who enrolled in UGC-funded programmes are welcome to attend this workshop.
