Course Introduction: Our Introduction to Hong Kong Sign Language (HKSL) course teaches you how to communicate with Deaf people, how to use HKSL in everyday situations and be immersed in the Deaf culture. During the course, a variety of different topics including numbers & time, family, travel, food & drink, hobbies and lifestyle would be introduced. You will also begin to learn how to structure sentences using HKSL grammar and syntax. Please note that the language instruction of this course is in English. Eligible students who enrolled in UGC-funded programmes are welcome to attend this workshop.
