(AEM) Emergency Grant and Loan
Introduction
UGC-funded full-time local undergraduate and postgraduate students with unforeseeable proven financial hardship caused by emergency situations may apply for emergency grant and loan at any time in the academic year. Submission of application form with supporting documents is required.
The emergency situations occurred within the last one year include but not limited to:
- serious illness/accident/unemployment/death of a breadwinner or household member in the family
- loss from damage of household or natural or man-made disaster such as fire or robbery
- student's own illness/injury/personal crisis/medical expenses from surgical procedures or mental health treatments
