Village CARE Governance Board 

Terms of Reference

  1. To oversee residential education, including both credit-bearing courses and non-credit-bearing activities, as well as admission policies, rules and regulations, disciplinary procedures, and the recruitment and training of College Fellows, Tutors, Mentors, and other student leaders, within Village CARE.
  2. To oversee the financial and operational matters of Village CARE, including the residential programme budgets of all Colleges, and report on and make recommendations on such matters to the Student Residence Management Board as appropriate.
  3. To make relevant recommendations to the Student Affairs Committee (SAC) as appropriate.
  4. To endorse reports from individual College Management Committees.
  5. To submit an annual report to the SAC at the end of the academic year.

Reporting Relationship

This Governance Board reports to the Student Affairs Committee (SAC) as a sub-committee of SAC.
