Guided Tour to Kai Tak Development Area- the transformation of the ex-airport site to be a low-carbon and people-oriented area for future residential and commercial developments

Kai Tak New Development Area is a huge and highly complex development project in the urban area of Hong Kong, transforming the ex-Airport site for future residential and commercial developments and at the same time giving an impetus to stimulate the regeneration of the adjoining older districts. The Kai Tak Outline Zoning Plan is formulated under the theme of developing Kai Tak into a green and tourism hub to meet the public aspirations for a low-carbon and people-oriented area fronting the Victoria Harbour. The walking tour, guided by a professional town planner, will cover some of the signature features of the area including:
