"Discovery Series" x "LQC Sponsorship"

Here comes a value-added promotion to joining our Co-curricular Learning (CCL) activities!

Year 1 undergraduate students who have joined any 4 activities in the CCL Discovery Series 2019-20 will be given a HK$500 sponsorship for participating in an outbound trip of your choice, which is organised by the Leadership Qualities Centre (LQC) and on the eligible list of the sponsorship scheme in the Academic Year 2019-20.

Eligibility:

Full-time Year 1 students (freshmen) who study in UGC-funded undergraduate degree programmes

Terms and conditions:

1. Each eligible student can enjoy the sponsorship ONCE only, regardless he/she has participated in more than 4 CCL activities in the Discovery Series 2019-20 or more than 1 LQC-organised programme.
2. The sponsorship is valid from 1 September 2019 to 31 August 2020, covering the whole periods of the LQC-organised programmes eligible for the sponsorship scheme (below).
3. The sponsorship can only be used in the listed LQC programmes which are eligible for the sponsorship scheme (below) and cannot be exchanged for cash.
4. Students need to apply for the particular outbound trip and go through the selection and interview process.
5. The sponsorship is in terms of a HK$500 discount on the programme fee. If the completion of 4 CCL activities in the Discovery Series 2019-20 is later than the payment of the programme fee by the student, the sponsorship of HK$500 will be refunded to the student after the successful completion of the programme.
6. The sponsorship can be enjoyed together with other subsidies, including but not limited to Reaching Out Award (ROA), First-Generation University Student Fund (FGF), etc. Students are responsible for the application of the other subsidies and the declaration of the discounted programme fee if applicable.
7. Leadership Qualities Centre reserves the rights of final decision.
