The Centre for Innovative Service-Learning is committed to providing diverse opportunities for students to engage in Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship to drive societal good. The upcoming Upcycle Denim Flowers Workshop is organised by Stote, a denim recycling and upcycling social enterprise funded by HKBU's Social Innovation Kick-start Fund.
Chi, Kenny and Potter, co-founders of Stote, will share their methods of upcycling old denim fabric into trendy accessories, enabling the initiative to achieve waste reduction and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Participants will also have the opportunity to transform old denim fabric into denim flowers and experience the joy of eco-friendly upcycling. If you are interested in experiencing Social Innovation projects and engaging in handmade crafts, sign up now!
