This is a conversation on the issue of gender construction and 'our' existence, from personal experience throughout the different stages of life: childhood, adolescent, adulthood, middle age and the aging process. The talk reviews what living as a woman means in the social context of Hong Kong. To the speaker as a philosophy follower, femininity has meanings beyond the social gender issues, which is related to our view of the world and Nature. The speaker will share her critical reflections on what a gendered being reveals to our meanings and values of life.
