Welcome to HKBU! - Central Asian Community Gathering

On 3 September 2024, a group of Central Asian students hosted the "Welcome to HKBU!" gathering to integrate international students from Kazakhstan into the HKBU community. This initiative aimed to enhance their involvement and provide support as they adapt to life at HKBU.

The event featured various activities designed to foster connections among participants. Students engaged in icebreaker games, shared cultural insights, and discussed their experiences and expectations at HKBU.

The gathering successfully created an inclusive atmosphere, encouraging students to build friendships and networks that will support them throughout their academic journey. This event marked an important step toward integrating Kazakh students into the vibrant campus community, with plans for future gatherings to continue this support.
